right on que: after flying around with bush on AF1, arlen walked into the senate gallery and said accused schumer of politicising  the process.

Maybe now Fox noise will return arlen's (R) logo.

Andgarden had a great idea. Have the Sergeant at Arms arrest him and lock him in Cheney's Senate office. Chained (or nailed) to the wall, preferably.

There may not be any perjury (none / 0) (#5)

Say for instance, there was once a black bag project, called Gamma Guppy Super Sucker. GGSS eventually became the Terrorist Surveillance Program, but GGSS had lots of other illegal stuff - physical searches without FISA warrants for example - that make it different in breadth and scope from the TSP.

In this case, both Comey and Gonzo could have testified (more or less) truthfully.

I don't believe it for a minute, but that's what he will claim.

    Not necessarily. (none / 0) (#7)

Given the GGSS hypothesis, all Mueller did was confirmed they talked about an NSA program, which had some elements in common with the TSP.

    Still not a Gonzo gotcha.

Our Newsie Soundbite to Start the Day? (none / 0) (#4)

I'll take that.  I remember when every Newsie Soundbite to Start the Day was WMD's and where they really were, Al Qaeda = Iraq, a few bad apples, what color we were at on the terror alert chart.  This is a terrific improvement in starting the day Newsie soundbites, Cha Ching!
