    the right wing wedge issue horse sh*t? English as the official language is right up there with school prayer, fetus farms, the war on Christmas, protecting the sanctity of divorce etc

    In practical terms what will declaring english "the official anguage of the U.S" accomplish? Will cheap labor (excuse me, illegals)stop pouring in to fill the void created by Rethug contributers perpetually in search of cheap labor?

    oh, that's right the GOPpers railed against Kerry for changing positions, but IOKIYAR. Really, that's old school thinking. Don't you realize that Rudy has grown since making those statements as mayor and now  understands that English Only is best for America. ;)
