Gators Win!!

The Florida Gators become the first team to repeat as NCAA mens' basketball champions since the Duke Blue Devils won the title in 1991-92.

Three top flight starters, Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Corey Brewer, turned down the riches of the NBA for a chance to repeat as champions.

The Mighty Gators are a great TEAM. Greg Oden was the best player on the court. Florida was the best team we've seen since at least Duke.

Let's Go Gators!

I was rooting for them. And now I hope that my team, Kentucky, steals your coach.     :)

Brewer was a beast in the first half.  And the foul shooting percentage . . . wow!  Richards is the unsung hero to be sure.

    It's great . . . to  be . . . a Florida Gator!!!!

    It is unseemly to complain but . . . (5.00 / 2) (#4)

    The officiating was atrocious.

    Oden got away with murder.

I was complaining throughout.  It's a good thing the kids were asleep as the stream of obscenities flowing out of me would have set a poor example.  It got even worse when Green started to get careless with the ball late in the game.

Oden was allowed to do as he pleased.  The Gator big men were tagged for incidental contact (though Noah's last was a stupid foul).

Since the state of Tennessee gave you two all tournament players (Brewer and Humphrey) can you please root for my Lady Vols tonight? We are happy for the Gators in Vol land. Truly the meaning of "team" down there.

I'm going to miss the goofy but adorable Noah in the SEC. I wish we were all as happy as that kid is.
