New Member of the Out of Iraq Blogger Caucus? Bush's Former Pollster Says "Out of Iraq"

Edger has led the charge on the growing Out of Iraq Blogger Caucus.

E, we have a new prospect for membership, President Bush's former pollster, Matthew Dowd:

In a wide-ranging interview here, Mr. Dowd called for a withdrawal from Iraq and expressed his disappointment in Mr. Bush’s leadership.

. . . His views against the war began to harden last spring when, in a personal exercise, he wrote a draft opinion article and found himself agreeing with Mr. Kerry’s call for withdrawal from Iraq. He acknowledged that the expected deployment of his son Daniel was an important factor.

. . . “If the American public says they’re done with something, our leaders have to understand what they want,” Mr. Dowd said. “They’re saying ‘Get out of Iraq.’”

He has a blog with Joe Lockhart. Send him an invite Edger.

I was just using it for the humor value and to promote the Caucus.

    No need to move mountains.

The worst is he can ignore it. But if we keep growing like we have been there will come a time when he can't.

I was a SAC officer's wife at the time I was protesting Nukes - in fact, (I didn't tell edger this part)  I was busted by the Tucson cops at a Peace Camp rally at the front gate of Davis-Monthan, protesting the GLCM  mission while simultaneously he was conducting a Sierra Movement of a deactivated  Titan through the BACK GATE.

They were really pissed that I didn't reveal my military association until I was booked.

    Idiots.  I wanted an incident!!!

    I got it, too.

Edger, how does your invite get to Dowd? (5.00 / 1) (#16)

Is Fournier still an editor at the blog?  Did you read the farewell posting by Fournier with some details.  Just wondering.

    I didn't have much time to look around HotSoup (5.00 / 1) (#17)

I was heading out for the rest of the day. When I say Ron Fourniers loop there I posted in it figuring that if he is still Editor in Chief that he'd see my post and hopefully mention it to Dowd.

On Sunday I'll look at HotSoup in a little more depth and see what I can do... so far I've only had a couple of people come to Edgeing from that post.
