What's A Powerpoint?

The GSA political scandal produces high hilarity.

Anyone who has taken a deposition has seen this approach before by a witness, but I never understood how anyone would try it in a public hearing. I love her put upon attitude, as if there could be nothing wrong with it. A strange performance. Some more fun here.

    Al,

View the video.  At the end, she (apparently) woke herself up and closed the meeting asking the attendees if they had any ideas they could use to "help the candidates".

I see iron bars in this persons future.

Bruce Braley is past president of the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, and an experienced plaintiffs' med mal lawyer.  I think he's done this before ;)

He did a nice job on General Kiley during the hearings on Walter Reed.  I was impressed then, too.

Not that there was any good answer to those questions, but her answers couldn't have been worse.

Doan managed to simultaneously concede the truth of Braley's points while at the same time appearing ridiculously evasive.

In order to convict her, they will have to have an independent prosecutor appointed?  And, won't Bush simply veto that idea?

That all of their witnesses are this "good!"

I have been saying all along that if their manifest imcompetence includes their coverup skills we will have some serious evidence for impechmnent farily quickly.

If this is indicative of their skillzzzz......
