March Madness 9 - Early Scores

Right now, if you have Stanford making an improbable run in the Tourney, you are looking none too good. The Cardinal trail the Cardinals by 25 in the first half.

Davidson is giving Maryland a real tussle, down 1 at the half.

BC leads Tex Tech by 2 at the half. Please update in the thread. I am out of pocket this afternoon.

There will be no this year's George Mason (none / 0) (#1)

Or last year's George Mason wouldn't mean as much.

Though who wouldn't love to see Old Dominion in the final four?  Just for the name alone.  Old.  Dominion.  Sounds like a bargain whiskey.

This is a good day, the first day of the tournament.  Where else at 9:30 am PST can you see a first class hoop matchup where both teams' entire seasons are on the line?

All I need is a few cheerleaders flanking my tube.

And by tube I mean TV.  Come on now.

Oh, well. I was hoping for an upset, but realistically, the Card barely made it in. IIRC, they were the last team placed.

They were better than they showed. (5.00 / 2) (#6)

They had some good wins this year including consecutive wins over USC and UCLA.  They'll be better next year.
