Libby Trial: Live-Blogging at HuffPo Today

I'm over at Huffington Post live-blogging the Libby trial today. Come on over. For the blow by blow, check out Marcy Wheeler at Firedoglake.

This morning has been taken up with determining Andrea Mitchell won't testify, the NY Times' Jill Abramson had no recollection of Judy Miller suggesting she assign someone to cover the Joseph Wilson/Niger story and Cheney NSA Advisor John Hannah testifying how busy Libby was with heavy national security issues.

Released as witness.  I guess that means no one in the court room will get shot in the face.

    But Libby was A BUSY MAN! (4.00 / 1) (#1)

Fitzgerald is beginning his cross-examination now. He asked Hannah if Libby was so busy that had Hannah invited him to a two hour breakfast Libby would have declined and said he couldn't spare the time. Big laugh in media room, since it was a dig at Libby's two hour St. Regis meeting with Judith Miller. He wasn't to busy for that!

Hanna aka The Year Of Iran, seems to be using the stand to spew propaganda. He said that Iran has AQ.

That is the strangest thing I have heard yet.

Wonder why Fitz didn't object to all his drivel, as Walton indicated that he would have ruled against it.

Walton Relative importance is not going to be an issue, and I would hope that no one would defy my on that.

    Fitz We heard with TYOI

Walton There was no objection. If there was an objection I would have ruled against it.

I am a bit confused here. Would Walton have overruled Fitz objection or ruled against Hannah's propaganda?
