An Iowa Poll Hillary Supporters Will Love

ARG's latest:

Iowa Likely Democratic Caucus Goers Dec 16-19 Dec 20-23
Clinton 29% 34%
Edwards 18% 20%
Obama 25% 19%

All polls stink imo, especially Iowa polls. But if Hillary supporters were looking for something encouraging, they have this poll.

hang up so the polls are not valid. One of the reasons so many hang up is because it may be a push poll and most people can't tell if it is a push poll until the end of the poll. The obvious solution is to hang up so you don't have your time wasted by a push poll.

Democrats tend to lose their mind every 4 years in Iowa. This were got Kerry, Gore and Carter. Bill Clinton did badly there. Until we get to the real competition, only God knows which candidate will do well eventually.

    It seems obvious to me (5.00 / 1) (#7)

And how did Hillary make these recent supposed gains in Iowa?  Certainly not through deception and promoting fear among the voters, certainly not.  I'm sure it was just solid campaigning on her part.

Racial Undercurrent Is Seen in Clinton Campaign -- Washington Post

These officials, including Clinton aides and prominent surrogates, have raised questions or dropped references about Obama's position on sentencing guidelines for crack vs. powder cocaine offenses; on his handgun control record; and on his admitted use of drugs as a youth. The context was always Obama's "electability." But the Illinois senator's campaign advisers said some African American leaders detect a pattern, and they believe it could erode Clinton's strong base of black support.

In N.H. poll, Obama inches ahead of Clinton

    Obama -- 30%

    Hillary -- 28%

In early November Hillary Clinton had an almost 15 point lead in New Hampshire, yet now Obama is leading her in this Boston Globe poll.  So what is wrong with Hillary, and her campaign?

How Clinton Lost Her Invincibility -- Time

I'm sure the Clinton campaign is delighted to have that deep bastion of liberalism, Time, running interference for them, and explaining that these failings and falterings in the early primary states and around the country don't fall squarely on the shoulders of Hillary Clinton herself, but are just the result of unfortunate circumstance and an ineffectual tactical approach.

No doubt were going to see a huge push by the mainstream media providers through the new year in an effort to place Hillary back in her rightful position as representative of the Democratic Party.  The establishment can't afford to have an unknown like Barack Obama acquire the Democratic nomination, they wouldn't want the American people to start believing that they actually have a say in our own government, no they can't have that.  Doubtless they'll do whatever needs to be done to prevent the possibility of losing the control to which they've become so accustom.

Paul Krugman reports that Obama is running Harry & Louise style commercials in Iowa

It has a man and a woman talking, with the man leading off saying that health care mandates "force those who cannot afford health care insurance to buy it, punishing those who don't fall in line."

If true, this does it for me. He drops to Gravel level.

Iowa poll says Clinton breaking away from the pack

Well I hope you Clinton supporters are happy, looks like she's going to pull out a last-minute miracle in Iowa.  Funny, those Iowa people, they just magically change their minds overnight, funny isn't it.

And of course she'll win the national election, because no one wants to see this Republican nightmare continue.  But as we all know, putting the Democrats in control of Congress didn't change anything, I wonder if putting this tried-and-true vetted establishment Democrat in the White House will do the trick?  I wonder?

Be careful what you wish/vote for folks, you just might get it.

    Hillary 08, We Win!

    Or did we?
