Rudy's Favorite Crimefighter

Incredible:

Rudy Giuliani said Monday that if his achievements as president are as good as the crime-reduction results of his New York police commissioner, a man now under criminal investigation himself, "this country will be in great shape." . . . Kerik, whom Giuliani pushed to head the federal Department of Homeland Security, is under investigation on what could be multiple felony charges. . . .

Too funny.

Who are we to let a silly little thing like laws and ethics get in the way of security and justice?

    Democrat's support called 'unconscionable'
After Schumer's announcement Friday, a Daily Kos blogger wrote, "This is unconscionable."

"Wow, thanks for selling us out, guys," another poster on Daily Kos wrote.

"Chuck Schumer and Dianne Feinstein just green-lighted torture," claimed blogger Philip Baruth at the Vermont Daily Briefing.

For "Big Tent Democrat" at the web site Talk Left, the headline was, "Schumer and Feinstein Say Yes to Waterboarding."

"I never want to hear Schumer pontificate about anything again," wrote "Big Tent Democrat.

all that much attention will equate New Yorkers Clinton and Guiliani and vote for Rudy.  Its frightening.  NY Times had an article about Rudy's various versions about what he knew of Kerik before he pushed him for the Homeland Security position.

    Ideally at least...

Wish I was afforded that kind of idealism when I was punished before my day in court though.

Yes, everyone should, but there are many who are not and too often it goes unnoticed.

And yes, it's caused me to hesitate alot more lately when I've seen people who need help, I sort of have to go through my mind whether or not I should help before I do.

For instance, earlier this year on my way home from work there was a passenger on the bus who got violent with the driver, she had to pull over on the highway because of it.

Nobody else would do anything, I hesitated too for longer than I should have, but eventually I walked all the way up to the front, got between her and the passenger who had hit her and was still yelling in her face, and backed him off the bus.

    I probably shouldn't have, but I did.

Someday items like this one (Giuliani/Kerik) will be collected in a laugh riot of a book. How they'll howl at the insanity of it all!

How a Democrat got roasted by the media for mixing up two names and how that same media ignored the Republican front-runner announcing to the world that he loves a crook!

But I suppose it's just not as newsworthy as Hill's non-answer about drivers' licenses.
