George Allen Does Not Concede

George Allen refuses to concede Virginia. He just made a statement thanking everyone for their prayers and saying vote-counting will continue tomorrow. We all thought it was going to be a concession speech, no such luck.

... especially since many paranoid Dems, not trusting the electronic voting machines, invoked "voters insurance" and used absentee ballots.  Admittedly this is anecdotal, but I have a number of Democrat friends that did exactly that for that reason.

Anyhoo, I'm irritated to be saddled with Wolf again.  Meh.

I have no doubt this race will be contested. I just hope Va Citizens will recall the nooses and confederate flags that hung in his office.

When he said his speech, at that exact time, the difference was 2500 votes, which isnt much at all.  Regardless of the probability of what the coming votes were, there was still a chance, no matter how small, that he could have still won.

All he said, basically, was "Good night, I'm going to sleep"

And I knew about the confederate flag, but does he really have a noose or are you just joking? lol, I really can't tell when people are joking on this site.

Him conceeding on the spot would have been equivalent to Webb claiming victory, which he shouldnt have done IMO, but whatever.

Im still glad Webb won/is going to win.
