. . . Meanwhile The GOP on Ethics and Reform

IF the leadership elections in the House are referendums on ethics and reform, what does this tell us about Republicans?

[John Boehner] blows out Mike Pence 168-27 to become House GOP minority leader. Roy Blunt is expected to become whip in a few minutes. . .

    It simply says that they didn't get... (5.00 / 1) (#2)

...the message sent by Americans on Nov 7th.

I think it's great that they want to play by the same old corrupt rules; every rethug prosecuted, convicted, and forced to resign in disgrace will both increase our majority and serve to keep the corruption in the public eye for the next couple of years.

And corruption, if not number 1 on the list of issues upon which the public voted, was very near the top.

We can always hope they snare a few rethug senators too, and increase the majority we now have there.

    So I say it's a beautiful thing.

    Mornin', Jim.

    What hasn't the guy done?

Blunt (R) has been listed by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington as one of the 13 most corrupt members of Congress.

What does this tell us about Republicans?

They never saw the tsunami coming. And 'GOP' and 'Ethics' don't belong in the same sentence.
