John Kerry is Not the Issue

Who cares what John Kerry said? The issue is Iraq.

Guantanamo

Torture

2 Million Americans in Jail

The Republicans have blown our governance so badly we all want to scream

Screaming does no good. Voting them out of office is what will help.

They didn't do their homework or get an education. Look where they are stuck!

    Screw 'em, I guess.

We'll see if the Dems can make that point.

That's funny, just last week the Left told us that Mark Foley was the issue.

So the coverup by the GOP leadership of a sexual predator is akin to a mistake in a speech from someone not on any ballot?

    GOP values on display.

Kerry may well have cost the Demos the election (1.00 / 0) (#7)

Big Tent - The point is that Foley became a poster child for the Demos to use. You used him, even though the past problems of two Demo congressman are well known, just as you ignore Murtha's ethics problems from the past.

No big deal... after all, the Clinton people told us politics is a blood sport.

Now it is the Demos looking dumb and uncaring and you are trying to act as if his comments are meaningless. Nonsense. They reveled an elitist attitude and an uncaring heart. It cost him the election in '04 and has damaged the Demos terribly.

You can forget the RePub base not voting and the conservaties not coming out. This may very well turn the election.

Rove must be laughing his behind off.

Horrible images to associate with a nation that was and can again be a light in the darkness. But images say so much more than words and can produce visceral reaction.

More of these please. More often. Especially for the next 2 or 3 days, with text related to the elections, that search engines like google will pick up on.

We need to keep saying the blindingly obvious because the media sure as H won't:

The issue is Iraq: the deaths, the torture, the graft, the greed, the incompetence, the corruption, the loss of the war

The issue is Katrina: the deaths, the indifference, the graft, greed and corruption, the murderously criminal incompetence, the indifference to the suffering and deaths of Americans on American soil.

The issue is freedom:  the loss of privacy, free speech, and civil liberties.  The destruction of habeas corpus for political gain.

The issue is the rule of law:  the unapologetic, wholesale trashing of laws by the president who is sworn to uphold them.

The issue is Bush and what he has done, not Kerry and what he has said.

    Kerry... (none / 0) (#8)

    Kerry, Schmerry. This is nothing.

It just shows how desperate the WH is. They're attacking the same guy they already beat two years ago. Whattsa'matta, got nowhere else to go?

See a tongue-in-cheek posting that employs the same GOP tactic used in relation to Senator Kerry to creatively interpret remarks made by the President in the most unfavorable manner...here:

A bunch of draft dodgers who are currently sending other people's kids to die are once again gonna criticize someone who actually went to Vietnam. And Big Media will let them get away with it, again. Only in America!

Another important point is that if you dont get   educated, you might end up spending your golden   years parroting the savants of FNC and talk radio and nursing a forty year grudge against anyone    who that spoke out against an immoral and        unwinnable war.
