Johnny Cash's American V Releases Today

Johnny Cash's 5th album in his American series, ''American V: A Hundred Highways," recorded in the months before he died while he was sick with diabetes and other ailments, is being released today. The New York Times has this review.

It's the most moving musical rumination on mortality since Warren Zevon's last album before lung cancer killed him.

When are you guys (and many other liberal bloggers) gonna stop using Republican supporting Amazon when Barnes and Noble supports liberal causes, and is just as easy/effective to use?

I can't think of a better, true voice of the American psyche than Mr. Cash. I'm pretty sure in the Music Section of Heaven, he's got a chair next to Lennon, Moon, and Gaye.
