In honor of Bernie Kerik's name being stripped from the Manhattan Detention Complex, fomerly known as the Tombs, before it became the Bernard B. Kerik Detention Complex, here's Eric Burden and the Animals singing "The House of the Rising Sun."

    Change "Spill the Wine" to "Spill the Whine" and you've got a good soundtrack to the Swift story too. Eric Burdon, great, underrated, singer that's still kickin' it and singing the blues the way they were meant to sung after all these years.

    Jondee, Agreed. Burdon was WAY underrated. Gawd I remember fiddling withe a VOX keyboard when I was 12 in my friend's brother's basement. "96 tears" was about as far as I got.

    Che - "96 Tears" is a great start. Most of that sixties organ playing, with the exception of Booker T. and the Procol Harum guy (Gary Brooker?), was about ambience anyway. Al Kooper said he could barely play when he played on Like A Rolling Stone, but what he did was just what the doctor ordered.

    Eric Burdon is a great vocalist, but that song still needs a woman singing it.
