Happy blogiversary to us! With traveling, I forgot it's TalkLeft's birthday. 4 years old.

13 million plus vistors, 22 million plus page views, 14,500 entries and 192,000 comments.

    What a fantastic phenomenon. I am addicted. Happy Birthday TL. I'm proud to be a regular poster (first as TK but soon changed) almost since your inception and haven't yet been banned, but have come close a couple of times. If I ever meet you be ready for a bear hug of appreciation. And we can all thank the Monkey King for uniting us. He finally got something right.

    Happy Blogiversary Isn't it amazing how much has been done to (apparently) accomplish so little? We are still only beginning this long journey of change. Thank you and the TL crew for the dedication these changes require. Do we get a few cookies instead of cake? ;-)

    Congratulations and may talkleft live forever. In that vein, I'm beginning to wonder about the long-term prospects for blogs such as these. While blogs come and go, they at least have the potential for institution building. Just like a newspaper or magazine, a blog such as this has the potential to continue indefinitely. While the owner of this blog will grow old and passed away at some point, the blog itself can be passed off to another generation committed to keeping it alive, for as long as the Internet remains a bastion of free speech. The concept itself as it is expressed in this blog, and many others, is a beautiful example of freedom of expression and speech put into practice. I sincerely hope that when my kid grows up, she will come to talkleft to be informed, comment and engage in the debate. In my opinion, that is what makes the blogging world truly great, aside from the important task of disseminating information, is its ability to connect and allow readers to engage in dialogue about the issues that concern them. A vital necessity in a free society. In my estimation, blogs like talkleft have a great potential for improving society. I bow to your accomplishment.

    This is a great blog/site. The discussions are very stimulating more so than any other about political law. Very easy to understand as well and very intellectual. That's the reason I keep coming back cause most everyone knows more about political law than myself. It's a great place to learn. HAPPY 4th anniversary TL.
