Dan Froomkin points to an interesting contrast between the president's response to Claude Allen's arrest (he's "disappointed, shocked and outraged" if the theft allegations are true) and his response to Scooter Libby's indictment (sorrow that poor Scooter had to resign).

    It's just been revealed Honor has resigned it's place in the White house so it can spend more time with it's family.

    According unnamed sources all three really resigned because the realized they had been ignored the last five years and any prospects for their future were completely ruled out by the Preznit and Karl Rove.

    It has just been reported by CNN that PA Authorities have unearthed unidentified remains in a shallow, unmarked grave in a sparsely-populated, rural area along I-80 near the town of DuBois,PA. Speculation immediately spread that the remains belonged to the Nation's missing HONESTY, HONOR AND INTEGRITY but authorities refused to confirm or deny such reports pending forensics and DNA test results from the lab. Meanwhile, administration spokesmen immediately looked to deflect speculation elsewhere by pointing out the Media's failure to look into the whereabouts of Elanor Roosevelt and her possible involvement. When told that Ms Roosevelt had long been dead, the spokesman immediately accused the Media of 'covering' for the Democrats and Liberal Bias. "See"! he shouted. "This just proves that you drove Claude to it! He never would've done it if it wasn't for you bums! If he did do it, I mean! How's he supposed to live on 161K per year? You have no idea how hard it is to be a Black Conservative! Not that I do, either, but, you know what I mean!"

    Well, yeah, I'd be outraged, too. They must have had to pay some serious money to get a black guy to stick around so long. Felonious white guys are a dime a dozen.
