Check out these photos of this underground pot farm in Tennessee.

This grow was underneath a house in a cave. The entrance was through a secret hydraulic door in the garage that led to a concrete ramp that went about 50 yards into the ground. Inside the cave was living quarters and a secret escape hatch that led you through a tunnel that exited via another hydraulic door that opened up a rock on the outside.

    This pro-death penalty drug legalization favoring engineer admires their work! Let's put the entrepreneurial spirit of American drug cultivators to work so that illegal drug profits will not fund narco-terrorism. Let's use tax revenue from drug sales to fund drug rehab clinics which are far more effective than prison for drug offenders. Jimbo

    Pretty impressive set up...like taking the secret passage to the conservatory a la Proffesor Plum. You'll find something similar in hundreds of thousands of houses across America. I, for one, am grateful...I'd much rather support the American farmer.

    Cavemen are cleverer than you'd expect. ;-) Someone talked too much I guess. And I wonder what they used as an electricity supply? Generators? Too much draw to connect to the grid, I'd think.

    Jimbo is so right. More underground growers and less underground importers. There is too much federal nonsense and not enough low impact, taxable farming. Pot laws are not only silly they also create an underground economy that is would be a great resource for taxable commerce and obviously employs some pretty good mechanics at a higher than usual wage. The support of pot farms with agricultural subsidies would be one of the only times gov't funds actually promoted commerce. But somehow I know that this is all George Bush's fault. Just joking, sort of....

    jimcee...I'd say it's a combination of Bush, Clinton, Bush, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, Roosevelt and so on. Even more so every congress for the past 80 years. None has had the courage to do the common sensical thing. Especially Bush and Clinton...they were former partiers who should know better.

    I think Bush only dabbled in pot. After all he was a 70's partier and that means one drug, cocaine. I lived in Nashville for 15 years and I have been inside (2) houses that grew their own pot. Nothing is as good as stuff smoked fresh off the vine. But don't worry, I didn't inhale.

    Apparently...someone ratted. Or else the grow room would still be in business. Law enforcement doesn't just stumble on an operation such as this without a tip.

    Ah yes Bush... The "chalk it up to youthful indiscretion while I endorse sweeping zero-tolerance policies" president. Clinton the "wink wink I didn't inhale party animal" Nixon was told, he ignored. I think I am gonna go try to find a dime bag now. I believe that by doing so I am making the world safer, so the law can be circumvented.
