Arianna on Hannity and Coulter

by TChris

Arianna amuses with this post about her encounter with the She Pundit With Long Blonde Hair on Hannity and Colmes.

Coulter is the right wing punditry's equivalent of crack or crystal meth. She's highly addictive -- giving users the delirious, giddy high of outrageousness. But then the buzz wears off and they come crashing down, their spirits shriveled, their souls poisoned. Her brand of way, way over-the-top rhetoric, trading on hatred, demonizing, and caricature is doing to the American body politic what a three-month meth bender does to crank junkies.

That is nothing, bush is making a deal with some of bin laden's best friends to sell our Harbors and docks and seaports and our port system to terrorits. ask what side is bush on? after all his best friends are in the mideast. bush will get us all killed, but maybe that is his plan for world peace. Bush A Villain for all seasons.

as a rule, i have as much use for arianna huffington as i have for maureen dowd and frank rich; very little. her blog does nothing to dispel a basic rule of mine: never waste good time, time i'll never recover, on a waste. why bother going on hannity's show (who cares about colmes, he's just a waste of good carbon & oxygen), you already know the ending? true to form, he and coulter blather on mindlessly, spewing what passes as venom for them. a tired premise, for two third-tier wannabes. that their core audience is even dumber than they is a given; no one of minimal intelligence could watch for more than 5 minutes, before having an uncontrollable urge to change to the food channel, a far more constructive use of your time. no one with minimal intellect would waste time appearing on that show. given the nitwits that do, i rest my case, your honor. at the end of the day, no one gives a rat's ass what hannity, coulter or huffington think, and that "thinking" part is being generous.

Having been the victim of a meth addicted spouse, I think Huffington's description is dead on.
