Remember: Email is Forever

by TChris

Here's a funny lesson in how not to get a job in the legal world (at least, not in the private sector).

    Newsweek:
The business world and government departments depend upon it, grade-school kids are taught how to use it and Osama bin Laden's followers have become skilled practitioners. But congressional investigations of government responses to Hurricane Katrina have revealed that two of the nation's key crisis managers, the secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security, do not use e-mail.

Sailor, I think a corollary to your "law" should say something about how quickly Bush, or his administration, is brought into topic about neither. Is the 1st post a record?

Abdala should complain to Korman's internet access provider. In the internet world it's considered unethical (some even say illegal, but they're not lawyers) to forward someone's email to an uninvolved third party. Korman could get his internet access cut off.

Here is a bit more on the situation. SUO, maybe so, but my postulate is on desperation when bushco is attacked. This involves neither party. Even so, I can see your point. I'd have more to add about emails from the admin, but it would be OT;-) And speaking of being OT, (me, not you), I just saw your responses to the 'sex offender' thread. I'm going to post a response there.

Sailor, I just left a comment for you over there...

What are you new at the internets!? Most everyone every day forwards email. Our conpanies can access it, our gov't taps it, our ISPs can read it.

Maybe in china. American companies still have laws and that pesky free speech issue to contend with. I would love to see that 'trust fund baby' try to get his web provider to shut him down.

Nice to see that this Abdala person has no class, no ambition, no desire in the profession other than"the finer things" and she is starting out in the practice of law by representing the indigent without any sort of monitoring?
