Cannibals and Hunting Licenses

by TChris

Strangest statement by an Idaho bureaucrat so far this week:

"The result in Idaho is that you could theoretically be a convicted cannibal and still have a hunting license," said Ed Mitchell, a spokesman for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game in Boise. "But if you are a convicted cannibal, you cannot legally own a bent BB gun in the state of Idaho."

Do a large number of convicted cannibals apply for hunting licenses in Idaho?

My reply to Mr. Mitchell is that, as we all know, cannibals are strictly bowhunters, so he better get on the ball.

Mitchell was just clowning, right? Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Is cannibalism even a crime? Sure, murdering somebody for dinner is illegal. And we have laws concerning how human corpses are handled. But what about consentual munching of a few fingers? The cannibals may have a case...

In the spirit of rehabilitation, wouldn't we actually want to encourage cannibals to go out and shoot some non-human game instead?

Most cannibals live in washington, Like Bush and his best friend Abramoff and others who like that kind of thing! but whats really wrong with eating people our government has been doing that for years now. Stop cannibalism and save a foot it maybe your foot next.

Typical of your average Idahoan; paranoid, out of touch, and armed. It's best if you all avoid the state entirely. Spread the word.

I understand that the fingers are a real delicacy.

Pigwiggle, If you're going to libel a whole state as paranoid and dangerous, you should pick one that doesn't have an unusually low murder rate. But maybe you're right, and they're all just bad shots. Could be a prion disease affecting their coordination.

"... as paranoid and dangerous, you should pick one that doesn't have an unusually low murder rate."
Likely due to the low population density. A few more people show up and it's sure to be an epic bloodbath.
