Someone needs to call the Young Turks @ 323-866-8201 Tell them the "clairol" plan of calling two friends and they call two friends etc. That's a geometric progression and after just 10 layers their will be 1023 calls and emails. That's from one person starting the chain by calling two people. If 100 people start a chain that goes 10 layers that's 100,000 people. If it goes 20 layers that's is over a million for each person who starts a chain. The numbers will convince people to call.

You were right on top of me, TL. But is Obama going to vote to continue? I sure couldn't tell from this. And his remark critical of the party for what he called an over-reliance on procedural maneuvers seemed odd. Congress is a procedural body, and if anything, to me, it seems the Dems haven't used what power they have enough. I certainly don't remember an abundance of filibusters in my lifetime. But who cares? Let it roll at this point.

One time? Now he's openly admitting it's just a pose. Congratulations, Justice Alito.

BTW, Lefties: As much as I disagree with you, about Alito and so many other things, today you have my genuine sympathy, no snark or irony intended. Your team is taking to the field in this, the Superbowl of Confirmations, and is openly announcing beforehand that it's only going thru the motions and isn't gonna run hard, or tackle, or even try to actually win. Gawd, you guys are more patient with them than I could ever be. Go team, yeah right.

ras, why do I get the feeling that that's about the slickest, smoothest, most duplicitous piece of veiled and forked tongued sarcasm I've seen in awhile here? No snark or irony intended, my eye. Go team, yeah right. Sympathy? Spare us...

Edger, No, not this time. However much we disagree, your beliefs are important to you, and heartfelt. And your "champions" are making tough statements before they step in the ring to purportedly fi
