BUSH PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY DESTROYED BY FLOOD

Crawford, Texas -- A tragic flood this morning destroyed the personal library of President George W. Bush. The flood began in the presidential bathroom where the books were kept. Both of his books have been lost. A presidential spokesman said the president was devastated, as he had almost finished coloring the second one. The White House tried to call FEMA but there was no answer.

UPDATE (from PU Wire): Bush comments, thankful his crayons survived. Says political map of Middle East can continue being redrawn.

How about THIS bombshell from The Borowitz Report? "Elsewhere, President George W. Bush said that he meant to invade Iran all along, blaming the error on SpellCheck."

UPDATE 2: While the President's crayons survived the flood, it is now confirmed that the redrawn political map of the Middle East did not. The chicken-scrawled map, scribbled crudely with the surviving crayons, was apparently the "coloring book" identified in earlier reports.

Overheard in the Whitehouse sometime in December. Cheney: I believe Condi has bought the President a book for Christmas. Rove: Why would she do that, he already has one.

An oldie but goodie: Bush and Rumsfeld are sitting in a bar. A guy comes in, sees them and asks the bartender: "Hey, is that Bush and Rumsfeld over there?". "Yup", replies the bartender. So, the guy approaches their table and asks: "Hey, what the hell are you guys doing here?". Rumsfeld says: "We're planning to attack iran right now". The guy then asks: "Really! What's going to happen?" Bush says: "Well, we're gonna kill 130,000 iranians, and one bicycle mechanic" "Why would you kill a bicycle mechanic?" asks the guy. Bush then turn to Rumsfeld and says: "See? I told you nobody cared about 130,000 iranians".

The best Bush clip of all is the video floating around the net where he is piss drunk and rambling at a wedding reception. Google "Bush Drunk Wedding Clip" and you'll find it. Instant classic!
