    Letterman to O'Reilly:
I'm not smart enough to debate you point to point on this, but I have the feeling, I have the feeling about 60 percent of what you say is crap. [audience laughter]
The letterman clip is priceless. O'Reilly beams with pride when Letterman says he's not smart enough to go point to point... then Dave slips the knife in.

Was that supposed to show O'Reilly getting his clock cleaned by Letterman? Pretty bad. O'Reilly, Dick Cheneyesque draft-dodger and sleaze-bag Clintonesque womanizer that he is, stood up well against Daves softballs. Dave didn't have much to rebut O'Reilly on the "myth" of a war on Christmas. And the audience, what do you expect?

After having watched the Risen softballing I'd have to say there really is much 'there' there. The NYTimes has again proven that they are trying thier best to knock down Bush with very little punch. Quite frankly they are hard learners, not quite so much about the Bushies but about the public who they believe are so stupid that they need the millionaires of the media to tell them what they should think. Funny how the proles prefer to think for themselves.

Wow, Charlie, you have silenced these lefties here. Thats a first, here, but I am sure that your used to getting that blank, wide eyed stare from people that you talk to. (just a little hint, it aint because they're in awe of your wit)

Thanks variable, you stole my thunder. If you don't know charlie let me introduce you to him. Charlie is a beloved figure in here (especially among the so-called progressives) who's rants against kukluxchristians, white trash and half the country known as red-staters gets praise, not rebuke. Problem is charlie is Jewish,(like TL and others in here) so he gets a pass when he spills his hatred for Christians. He thinks he's a tough guy. Growing up in the Bronx I knew some tough Jews, charlie ain't one of them. He's a punk, someone who I don't take seriously and someone who wouldn't have lasted a week in my old neighborhood.

I especially liked the fact that O'Reilly is such an upstanding, consistently concerned regular guy, and completely without a hint of moral relativism, or any other redeeming values:
I believe that finally fair-minded Americans who care about their country are coming to the realization that there is something very wrong in Washington, D.C. Some of the people to whom we are entrusting power are abusing that power, and our investigative agencies like the FBI are often MIA. Earth to Bush, it is the Justice Department's mandate to investigate public corruption. That's why we have a Justice Department -- to seek justice. OK? Bill O'Reilly, February 27, 2001

    Charlie, Nice rant (much eye-rolling).
