TalkLeft's Thanksgiving Thanks

TalkLeft has a yearly Thanksgiving ritual of giving thanks to bloggers and others who most have helped and supported our efforts during the year. In compiling this year's list, I was surprised, because it's the first time that there are mainstream media organizations and writers to thank. It's clear that the MSM has embraced blogs this year, and that's a great thing for both blogs and the public.

I hope readers will check out every one linked below - and consider giving thanks to your favorite bloggers by putting a little something in their tip jars.

First, thanks to the bloggers who have sent the most traffic to TalkLeft:

Thanks to the bloggers who regularly allow me to write on their sites:

Thanks to the bloggers who frequently link to TalkLeft:

Thanks to the bloggers and others who send me great tips daily:

Thanks to the networks that regularly mention TalkLeft and allow me to provide commentary as a blogger as well as a legal analyst:

Thanks to the video bloggers who post videos of TalkLeft's and my tv appearances:

Thanks to the MSM reporters, bloggers and columnists who have mentioned TalkLeft:

Thanks to Joe Trippi, Bob Brigham and Chris Bowers for setting up blogger conference calls where I've been able to put direct questions to our Senate leaders and others.

Thanks to the MSM publications that have included links to TalkLeft's posts alongside their own coverage:

Thanks to Yahoo News for publishing several of my posts as news articles.

Thanks to Instapundit and Kevin Drum for their support in the early days. Thanks to Wampum Blog for hosting the yearly Koufax awards, where TalkLeft has been named best single issues blog three years in a row.

Thanks to Lexis-Nexis for being the best source ever.

Thanks to 5280 Magazine and publisher Dan Brogan for making me an online contributor and providing a place to blog about Colorado issues.

Thanks to Colorado's 29 year old philanthropist and major Democratic party activist Jared Polis who purchased the new laptop I asked for.

Thanks to these bloggers for their great writing and insights:

Thanks to Murray Waas for his great reporting and for using the telephone to reach out to bloggers.

Thanks to TalkLeft's webmaster Mike Ditto who is always on call.

Major thanks to Blogads, Henry Copeland and their entire staff.

Thanks to TalkLeft readers who respond with a donation every time I put out the call. For privacy reasons, I won't name them, but they know who they are.

And my biggest thanks to TChris and Last Night in Little Rock for writing on TalkLeft way more than they should with their busy law practices.

    Is there no justice?
Comedic value aside, Justice isn't a concept that the universe holds, and it rarely occurs in human endeavors, but it is something to be strived for, along with mercy. I'm thankful I have my health, I'm thankful my sibs and their children are doing well. On a much lesser note; I'm thankful we all have this opportunity to engage in a debate about our country that TL provides. Thanks TL, et al, I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.

I shall be magnanimous and compliment both you and "Political Teen" for working together.... Such amity should be a role model for us all.

I would like to thank Talk Left for putting up with the likes of me and my like minded brethern. It shows that we may not all agree on any given thing but we can have fun dicussing our disagremnets. Thank You Jerilynn et el for running a nice shop. Best to all and have a nice Thanksgiving, the most secular (and my favourite) holiday of all. Have a nice Thanksgiving one and all. Best, Jim

Happy Thanksgiving, Jeralyn. And thank you for building this little corner cafe where we can all chew on the great issues of the day: Come writers and critics Who prophesize with your pen And keep your eyes wide The chance won't come again And don't speak too soon For the wheel's still in spin And there's no tellin' who That it's namin'. For the loser now Will be later to win For the times they are a-changin'.

Thank you, TL. I second Jimcee's post. I greatly appreciate the supplementation of and to the news that TL always gives. Ya just gotta love Thanksgiving - that most Rockwellian of holidays.
