    Great links!! From all reports Miller is very difficult to work for, which is what you do unless you are Sulzberger, or one of her treasured sources. I wonder if Jehl is the 'other reporter' mentioned as the one whose desk was once commandeered by Judy. The collegue went to a senior editor and complained. The solution was for him to find another desk; 'I can not tell her what to do.', replied the editor. She seems well liked (loved) by her sources, and not well liked by her colleagues. I hope that Jehl and other fine reporters on the NYT can revive the papers reputation by repairing its creditability problem, a problem caused in large part by Miller's mendacious reporting of neocon propaganda urging us to war with Iraq. If Eric Schmitt's recent piece, Iran war propaganda, is any indication of what is to come from the NYT, their creditability problem will be terminal.

    Here is a another good piece (link from Juan Cole's excellent site): Ahmed Amr writes: "In Washington, they all know Judith Miller’s dirty little secret. Miller is a senior neo-con propagandist. If she goes down, she won’t go down alone. She will take the paper of record and Sulzberger with her." A rumble in the jungle.
