Military Charges Soldiers With Abuse

by TChris

The military charged eleven soldiers with abusing detainees in Iraq. Only limited details have been released.

The U.S. military said in a statement that the charges against the 11 troops, who served in the Baghdad area but were not otherwise identified, were filed Wednesday after another soldier complained about the alleged assaults.

"None of the insurgents required medical treatment for injuries related to the alleged assault," the statement added. "Only one of the suspected terrorists remains in custody of coalition forces at this time."

"Only one of the suspected terrorists remains in custody of coalition forces at this time." How the hell are we supposed to win the war on terror when we keep letting the terrorists go? Well at least we beat them up first...that oughtta teach them that terrorism doesn't pay.

Read it again, Ernesto. That statement doesn't say anything about "letting them go." I just says they're not in the custody of coalition forces. Just because you're not in the custody of coalition forces doesn't mean you're not in custody at all.

No Coverage of Soldier Capturing his would be Murderer and saving his life!
Notice the shooters aren't chanting, "Long Live Free Iraq!" "Long Live Democracy" "Long Live Iraqi Prosperity" "Long Live Educational Opportunities for the Children of Iraq"
Watch the video from those “religion of peace” guys. Notice all those “Allah akbar”, my god is greater, stuff.

“Allah akbar” simply means god is great, not MY god is GREATER. We leave 'my god is greater' and 'your god is a false god' to american generals (see Boykin) speaking in uniform to public audiences.

Don't the military realize that not supporting the troops causes the terrorists to win? Why does the military hate America?

Posted by Sailor at July 16, 2005 07:08 PM Allahu Akbar (allāhu akbar, الله أَكْبَر) is Arabic for "God is the greatest." Akbar is the elative form of the adjective kabīr (great, big, important), meaning "greater, greatest, or very great." The elative combines the meanings of comparative (greater than) and superlative (most great).

I don't do links. It's either principle, or I can't remember. Anyway, available at LGF or other sites is a video from the terrorists. The camera is on an American soldier walking around in a patrol type of situation. A round hits him square in the middle of the armor Rumsfeld has been deliberately withholding. The guy goes down, bounces back up and starts looking for a target. He goes back behind the vehicle. Later, in the ensuing fight, the sniper is wounded. The Americans provide first aid. The actual guy providing the first aid is the guy who was snot. Not that it interests you, but I figured you'd be delighted to know that, despite the MSM, millions of people have seen it.

Burger Boy.... Of course there was no coverage of this. It's too positive for the left wing biased press to handle! If they actually show anything positive coming out of Iraq some of the people here on TL might actually see there is 'another' side.

BB. TLers know there is another side. They are desperate to keep people from finding out.
