You guys are funny! :) Are those on the right doing this? Or are they just targeting bloggers on the left? (I'm just us little folks don't have to worry anyways, so I can keep my blogger status)

Thanks so much for the link. I've always admired this site and it's great posts. I'll definitely be adding you guys to my blogroll. Anyway, in response to Angie's question, The Talent Show, which started this whole idea, is encouraging righty blogs to join in too. I'm not sure how many will, since the joint force to fight the FEC is probably tough enough and they don't want to look too bipartisan. However, I do hope that some decide to hop on the online magazine trend. Btw, not being a blogger anymore is great. It means I've got my ethics and I can scream and yell and b*tch and moan about those in the blogo-loser-sphere who don't have any ethics.

Are those on the right doing this? A few, but most of them seem to be missing the joke. A lot of them take this 'new media' thing wayyyy too seriously. See Hewitt, Hugh. I think many of those on the right could use more irony in their diet.

Your foolish if you think this is going to protect you, it's just a matter of time before the Supreme Court, George Bush's new Supreme Court, upholds legislation that restricts free speech, and freedom of press. Wake up people your country is being stolen from you while you're reading this "blog".

The Captain's got a point. The FEC will next go after "online news magazines" so why bother with the name change?
