Che, if ya don't cough, ya don't get off;-) Oh, dude, that was harsh;-) (yeah, pun intended for the perpetually humor challenged) trying to stay on topic, crowe can be a hot head, hotels can be rude. but who cares about either rich entity?

    "Are you not entertained?"

I have a problem thinking this hotel employee 1) didn't know with whom he was dealing and 2) then proceeded to cop attitude with said movie star. Something about wanting to keep their employement maybe. I have a hunch, like most spoiled stars, Mr. Crowe expected to be treated like royalty and then, with a fuse as short as Danny DeVito, came uncorked beyond reason. The guy has a violent history and needs more than anger management classes.

also, i doubt the employee cut himself, and even if mr. crowe only threw the phone against the wall (oh no, that's not threatening or violent or anything) he can hardly claim he didn't assault anyone -- are we to believe this employee is just a hemopheliac or something?

Who cares. He's gotten the press's attention on him and his new movie. That's all he wants.

The hotel employee is an evil terrorist who hates America- wait, he's an Aussie, isn't he? Never mind... But he's still a scumbag...

sarc, you know, i wouldn't put it past him as a publicity stunt, or past hollywood -- i mean look at the new wonder couple, tom cruis and katie holmes, a guaranteed p.r. coupling -- but if so, then russ is a little off his rocker in the planning, scale, risk management departments. peace, mi amigo.

Thanks for the comments, nolo and Che's Lounge. We're here all week. Tip your waitress.

If it is a stunt, it's a risky one. If convicted, he may not be able to obtain work visas to film in the US. He was processed in one night, the average time spent in processing is 36 hours. And he didn't have the pleasure of going to NY's famous "tombs". Different rules for different account balances.
