HST: Rolling Stone Commemorative Issue

Rolling Stone has published a 35 year commemorative issue dedicated to gonzo journalist Hunter Thompson.

Great photos, great articles, with excerpts of several online for free.

Here's some background on how the issue was put together. Don't tell Mayor Bloomberg.

I would love if someone could find the clip of Hunter Thompson when he appeared on the gameshow To Tell The Truth. I still remember that appearance. He was on the show as the author of just published Hell's Angels. He appears with 2 other people who tried to fool the gameshow panel into believing that they were the real Hunter Thompson. At the end of the show, the gameshow host asks for the "real Hunter Thompson" to "please stand up." And, of course, the real Hunter Thompson did stand up and tell the truth.
