She-Pundit Censored by Her Own Syndicate

The she-pundit with long blond hair has been censored by her own publishing syndicate.

Writing in her February 23 column for Universal Press Syndicate, Coulter observed, among other things, that Guckert/Gannon was a better reporter than The New York Times' Maureen Dowd and his "only offense is that he may be gay." Nothing unexpected there, but Coulter also wrote: "Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the president."

But when the column got posted by by Universal on its Web site, that line was changed to: "Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that dyspeptic, old Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the president."

    Ha, good one. Helen Thomas reminds me of those old ladies who used to sit at the dark end of the bar drinking rye. Every time I hear Ann Coulter I wish she'd actually work at her craft (bashing, mostly) rather than just depend on the fact that she's about 10 points smarter than the people she's facing off against. As it is she'll be forgotten 10 minutes after she leaves the stage, which is a sham. -C

    Well, wonders never cease. I find myself agreeing with Cliff, that Mann Coulter is a sham. If enough evil liberals say mean things about her, she might become a crying sham.

    Ann Coulter - what a piece of work (I'm figuring "the lord" took a couple of days off after that f#ck up). She should be taken out behind the barn and thoroughly... awww, never-mind, I've already advocated violence a time or two this evening, maybe I'd better back off before the CIA starts knocking on my door.

    She's as much a terrorist as the fellow who is accused of plotting to assassinate Bush. she advocated that McVeigh should have bombed the NYT building. And they didn't even have to torture her for her to make that comment. Since neither comment made it past the verbal stage they should try ayn coulter on terrorism charges.

    something terrible happened to ann coulter, a long long time ago. instead of getting help, this is what she does. the single most affected talking head PUNdit i've ever seen or heard. a certifiable mental health disorder.

    Every time I hear Ann Coulter I wish she'd actually work at her craft (bashing, mostly) rather than just depend on the fact that she's about 10 points smarter than the people she's facing off against. For a person with no obvious grasp of world history, religions or political systems she's pretty bright...compared to a Capuchin monkey. Did you see the Canadian interviewer rip her a new one over her knowledge of the Vietnam war? Priceless!

    Did you see the Canadian interviewer rip her a new one over her knowledge of the Vietnam war? Priceless! Klaatu, I've never sat through more than a few seconds of Coulter's propaganda for fear of vomiting; however, if you could provide a link to a transcript of said interview, I'd happily give it my undivided attention.

    OK, I have no defense of Coulter at all here, far from it. But you guys at Talk Left...a SHE-Pundit??? Come on now, gimme a break. SHE is a PUNDIT. Period. And lest I get jumped on for political correctness, I just really don't want her associated with my gender, thank you very much.

    I think even Coulter doesn't want to be associated with her gender. I remember her saying something to the effect of "it's a bad idea to let women vote". A severe case of self-loathing.

    OK, Lora - as long as if we're getting into grammer and semantics, it's youse guys (that's the plural form). Not that I really want to, I've just never understood Coulter's need to attack her gender, which is my gender, and how she apparently doesn't see it's a reflection of her as well.

    Kdog- never heard it from Coulter, but there's a state senator wingnut near me who said the same damn thing. I wish I could say I was surprised. What a wingnut.     Yes, that's right, completely unlike Michael Moore, who continues to have a reward posted for anyone finding a falsehood in his films. I don't agree with MM's version of events, but it's a long ways away from the vicious and caustic kneejerk racism of Coulter. Coulter calls for the rape and pillage of ... Canada ... with her straightman face. She's a cartoon, for Soldiers of Fortune magazine. Michael Moore is an award-winning documentarian, not a cartoon. She hints that about 25% of the population (how many people are actually liberal in comparison to the amount of people branded liberal by the wing nuts?) should be put to death for.... da da dum!     Paul, thank you for making the point that conservatives have been trying to make on this blog re: Whoopi Goldberg, Dixie Chicks, Linda Ronstadt and now Robin Williams. Somehow when it is a liberal being censored, it is the end of the Republic, the Nazis are marching, et al. First lib to utter the words 'employment contract'. Great effort, now remember your words. BTW, she is much less hated than you think. Its just the circles you run in.

    Demo- I mentioned this in another thread above where you were ranting about censorship. Ann and her ilk should never be censored. I find the belly laughs I get from their ravings far too amusing to want to sacrifice them.
