Talon Shuts Down Website

Talon "News," the right-wing media outlet that employed James Guckert, a/k/a "Jeff Gannon," pulled the plug on its website in the wake of Gannongate.

The Web site, closely linked to Texas Republican activist Bobby Eberle and his GOPUSA.com, posted a message on its home page today announcing that Talon was going offline for, as it said, a "top-to-bottom" review.

Readers interested in the Talon perspective will have to content themselves with White House press releases.

    The White House claimed that Talon was a VALID News organization. Has any one noticed if the CBS network has gone off the air? What about the NY Times? What is the real reason Talon has shut down? This story should not be considered anything else but BIG I have heard they have purged their files. I'm sorry Talon sounds more like an illigal boiler room. This brings up memories of the Watergate burglars covering up their tracts. Bloggers don't let anybody slow down the your shovels!

    Talon news is gone? No great loss. Nice to see the wingnut press picking up on Gannon/Guckert: From Wing Nut Daily is this surprising piece of commentary. Even Faux News is getting the story. Move along..Move along...nothing to see here.

    the cover-up begins, expect JJ to be found expired shortly, suicide no doubt, just could'nt stand damaging the GOP. lets see who goes to CYA mode first, then watch who does it with the most intensity.

    i would love it if gannon/guckert sued someone for something. that would be a far more entertaining courtroom spectacle than that pathetic jackson trial. i tried to read his new site, his victimhood made me gag. must be tough to be a "manly man" and be forced to proclaim your persecution to the world.

    GOPUSA should be next it's the source for a lot of editorial crap that appears in the rightwing press we get a lot of it in the SF Examiner now owned by someone from Colorado they should just post a permanent link to the site
