Tampering With Evidence?

This is the kind of crime story that makes men cringe.

An Alaska woman is in jail, accused of cutting off her boyfriend’s penis and flushing it down a toilet. Police say Kim Tran did it after her boyfriend tried to break up with her.

Holy Lorena Bobbitt, Batman!

At least Tran was kind enough to untie her boyfriend and drive him to the hospital after doing the deed. Then she drove home, where police found her cleaning the bathroom.

Tran is charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence and tampering with evidence.

    YOU left out the best part of the story! "Police went back to find the severed penis. They ripped the toilet off and found it, put it on ice and took it to the hospital where doctors reattached it". Hope it is successful. Those are the kind of cops we men need all over America.

    Man I wouldn't think they'd sew it back on after it had been in the toilet for fear of giving the guy sepsis. Lordy, are we now to look forward to a new installment of Frankenpenis?

    Okay, "Tampering with evidence"? was that a result of the cut, the flush, the cleaning, or all the above? Is there a poor taste joke or three in here somewhere?

    I can see it as 'obstructing justice', since justice has been in the toilet lately, but I can't see the tampering charge. I think he qualifies as stupid victim of the week; who lets their significant other tie them up right after you told them you want to break up?

    TL, I guarantee you that stories of clitidorectomy disturb me just as much as stories about penis severing. The death squads Negroponte fostered tore testicles off with ropes. Milosevich's gangs forced fathers and sons to bite off each other's testicles, so both would bleed to death. These are barbarities. Sailor, your "significant other" is the person who taught you language, i.e. your mother. To misunderstand the contextual meaning of 'significant' suggests that your mom didn't do her job very well.

    Paul, Why do you have to interject politics into an apolitical thread? I highly doubt that this Alaskan Mrs Bobbit did not have the Central American Death Squads in mind when she allegedly sliced her husband off. Give it a rest, will you.

    Paul, Negroponte and Bush know all-about penis and testicles being bite off. but the muslims do most of that, and soon we will have that happen here(L.A., Black and Mexican Race war starting soon, Whites not allowed) so be happy. stop the penis chewing thing get real get bush out.

" and soon we will have that happen here(L.A., Black and Mexican Race war starting soon, Whites not allowed)" Dunno what you're on about, Fred, but the primary race problem in LA certainly involves whites. We aren't likely to have a race war in LA; there are gangs, but the population is not highly polarized like it was in the early 90s. More the problem is the cr*ppy economy, which is specifically Bush's fault. IF the required amount of dollars were being spent guarding our two major ports, there would be plenty of jobs in Los Angeles. IF Bush would not have allowed the Mexican trucks into Los Angeles,98% uninspected, and instead spent the dollars on inspecting them, there would be plenty of jobs in Los Angeles. Instead, the city is at risk, and Bush don't care.
