Iraqi Election Blog Coverage

Many are skeptical the Iraqi elections are a sign of positive reform. The most insightful blog on the war in Iraq is Informed Comment by Professor Juan Cole.

Two Iraqi blogs I read are:

Otherwise, there's pretty slim pickings if you're looking for blogs that don't sound like they are receiving an honorarium from the Bush Administration.

Hmm, how about 10,000 men with WMDs??!! Or, "the opinion of 5 people who can get all the radio/TV/print media time and space they want"?? Even if they know nothing about the subject...

"iraqthemodel" is pretty good despite Eric Alterman's blood libel vis a vis accusing the authors of being CIA. Nice job Mr Alterman, I wouldn't wish the same on your family but then I'm not paid to be obnoxious, just a hobby.

Very good links, especially Juan Cole's Informed Comment. I would also like to recommend the Drefuss Report, David Hackworth, and Occupation Watch. You should also give yourself a pat on the back for your coverage of Iraq.

Isn't it amazing how wrong the popular media was on this Iraqi election? Someone, somewhere, please at least smile that it went well....if you saw or listened to Kerry today, you'da thought he lost to "the idiot" AGAIN....if you can't get over the fact that we live in one country, then at least have the courage or conviction of the Iraqi people ....how about a new Left bumper sticker....BELIEVE, AND LEAVE! Or is it really more fun to stay around and watch "the idiot" be right again, and again, and again......
