Who will win The Voice? I hope it's Terry McDermott. I voted several times.
More people who once upon a time knew Adam Lanza are speaking out. They don't seem to know anything more than anyone else. I'm always sorry after I click on one of these articles, only to realize it's pure speculation. And most of them have annoying automatically playing videos you have to search for to shut off.
The Washington Post documents the media errors. I have a similar post I wrote over the weekend and haven't gotten around to publishing yet. And another one on Nancy Lanza and her family. And another on the lack of any connection between Asperger's, Autism and violence. (The New York Times on that here and here.) I will finish them soon, they are just very detailed and need a lot of proofreading.
Gun control is still the talk of the nation.

I'm sure there's news besides the CT shootings and tonight's Rolling Stones Pay Per View concert (see below for posts on both), but I haven't been following anything else today.

The Rolling Stones are doing their soundcheck for tonight's performance at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn.
Don't forget you can watch the December 15 performance live on pay per view -- $40 for HD, $30 otherwise (at least on Xfinity/Comcast.)
The Stones have put an amazing quantity of songs from live shows, even full concerts, on You Tube. With one of those blue-ray/smart tv devices, you can easily watch You Tube videos on your big screen TV (as well as Netflix and Amazon Prime.) This is the one I got, (Sony $89), it's 1/3 the size of my old blue-ray player, the wi-fi is built in. [More....]

Me and David Waldman on Daily Kos Radio:
On the agenda today: the continuing attacks on Susan Rice; is it too soon to ponder the 2016 presidential race; new PPP poll on Republican nuttery, and of course; more on filibuster reform. In particular, how well do comparisons of the 2005 nuclear option fight and today's filibuster reform effort really hold up? And why do editorial writers, misty-eyed for the days of the "Gang of 14" agreement, always forget that it enshrined the right and ability of the majority to change the rules by majority vote? Finally, a hint at a discussion to come: the NYT investigation into the value and efficacy of state and local government incentives granted to businesses in the hopes of bolstering job creation and retention.
