Trump Cancels Live Stream of Execution

Donald Trump has axed the live stream of the execution of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan who killed 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas. Only the victims families will be allowed to observe the execution.

Hasan is scheduled to die by firing squad in December.

It was a hare-brained idea from the start. The United States, even under an authoritarian administration like Donald Trump's, should not stoop to the level of Iran, North Korea and Afghanistan -- and ISIS.

damaged individual. Only a sociopath like him would think livestreaming this would be a good idea.

I believe it is tied his religion. Glorifying death and bloodlust seems to run rampant in all extreme religionists. He is no different than ISIS.

if Trump would have made the same decision if the guy was not in a wheelchair.

But Hegseth apparently crossed a line with his revelation last week that the execution by firing squad of a military death-row inmate would be livestreamed to the world. Even a president who'd brought a bloody mixed-martial-arts fight to the White House lawn apparently didn't relish the thought of an afternoon spent watching Army soldiers shoot bullets into a paraplegic."

Classic ask for double, then settle for half. Once he Tacoed on streaming there is little to no opposition to terminating the ex-major.
