Welcome, Justice Jackson

The Senate today confirmed the nomination of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the United States Supreme Court.

Hopefully, we will see that even one additional progressive voice on our nation's highest Court can make a difference -- on social and criminal justice and privacy issues.

    Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) didn't wear a tie for the occasion for the confirmation vote for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to become the first black woman on the Supreme Court -- which meant he wasn't allowed on the Senate floor and voted "no" from the cloakroom, CNN reports.

    Graham was wearing a tie at a press conference earlier but apparently took it off.

    Rand Paul held up the vote by 30 minutes.  He, also, did not wear a tie and voted "no" fr
