Congrats to Chelsea Clinton and Husband Marc

Chelsea Clinton announced today she and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting a child.

Hillary and Bill are of course, excited. Hillary tweeted:

“My most exciting title yet: Grandmother-To-Be!”

The new addition to the family is due "sometime later this year."

    From the great Molly Ivins

On his TV show, early in the Clinton administration, Limbaugh put up a picture of Socks, the White House cat, and asked, 'Did you know there's a White House dog?' But I just can't Howdy.  Life is too short.  And when I lived in WY I was exposed to the BLM leasing of grazing land too.  It is a little corrupt at times who gets the grazing land.  It is all supposed to be bid on but sometimes the system somehow fails.  The BLM wild horse herds have been destroyed in WY too.  They said the horses were destroying environment but then they leased that same land for natural gas fracking as soon as they eradicated the herds.

All the natural gas wells all over the BLM land is so ugly.

I suspect the reason they folded and gave the guy his cattle back is because that is what they want that grazing land for.  He hasn't paid for it, he has no right to it.  You can't believe the unpaid grazing tab that some WY ranches ran though.

I suspect they gave the guy his cows back because as soon as they legally have him off they are going to frack the hell out of that area.  And if they had confiscated his cattle to do it, well that's just too much corruption in front of too many followers that this guy has garnered.

Hannity isn't telling the truth either, but I would like to avoid throwing things at my TV.

From deforestation, to killing off animal populations, is pretty natural.

Think of the air...  who would ever think of trying to conserve it?

What we can know, however, is that the Limbaugh ilk and related play on and spur people's fears.  For awhile, fear can be a powerful motivator ... especially, if what is spewed on the airwaves is the fear of <fill in the blanks.>  And, as I recall from some nebulous studies, once the fear is awakened and the stimulus is repeated again & again, it takes an increased level of fear-mongering to achieve the same result in the subject populace.  So, witness the louder & louder levels of fear-mongering by Limbaugh and friends ... to the point where (as squeaky guessed) it borders on grotesque comedy.

Whether right-wing or whatever, that kind of fear-mongering used to leave me angry as well.  Until I began to consider outlandish diatribes in politics to betray a bad comedy.

He's a regular columnist for Newsmax. He's appeared on Fox and Friends, Hannity, he's a right wing talk host. Yeah, I think Tracy had it nailed 100%. You guys are so predictable.

Even you were shopping Dick Morris's conspiracy theory the other day about the "secret CIA agent" that he can't realease his name and a document that only he and the secret agent man had seen. But hey, Morris has a good gig fleecing you guys and I guess you want to be fleeced so have at it buddy!!

do you plant your droppings on a site called "TalkLEFT" and complain about "lefties"?

    To answer your query:

    Everything is political.
Don't you know that by now?

since I am almost 76 I can remember when everything was not political. When kids were not used and when they weren't attacked.

And while you folks cam't forget the nasty's of the Right, you don't seem to remember how Palin's children were savaged.

And I gotta admit. Your "droppings," if that what you want to start calling each other's comments, have a distinct "two holer" odor.

Try sprinkling some lime on them....

     "TALKLEFT"

You know, back in the day we had some really good debates. Usually civil and often informative.

That mostly went away in the 2008 election cycle when a plethora of KOS types showed up. Many of the regulars left and haven't returned. In fact, I think kdog, MT, squeaky and I are the only ones left from that group though I may have missed someone.

So the deal is this. Do you want a chat group or do you want a place to discuss and debate the various issues of the day?? I think you  want a chat group.

I remember that McCain got the "grampa" treatment relentlessly.

Of course I wish her and Chelsea the best, but everything is political it seems.
