Obama Congratulates McCain on Cheney Endorsement

Remember this Saturday Night Live skit, showing John McCain slinking away from a George Bush endorsement? One of the few politicians with a lower approval rating than Bush has emerged from his bunker to stump for McCain.

“Earlier today, Dick Cheney came out of his undisclosed location and hit the campaign trail. He said that he is, and I quote, ‘delighted to support John McCain,’” Obama said at an outdoor rally in this Colorado town where he was accompanied by his wife and two young daughters.

“I’d like to congratulate Sen. McCain on this endorsement because he really earned it. That endorsement didn’t come easy. Sen. McCain had to vote 90% of the time with George Bush and Dick Cheney to get his support.”

Cheney gave his speech in Wyoming, perhaps the only state that still welcomes his presence. But why let Cheney see daylight? Surely the McCain campaign isn't worried that Wyoming will turn blue.

How awful the last eight years have been!

Being reminded makes me want an Obama win on Tuesday that much more. It also makes me that much more worried that the Republican dirty tricks will somehow snatch this one away.

At least with his fantastically run campaign, Obama (and, yes, we Democrats) for once didn't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.  If, G-d forbid, we lose, it won't be because we screwed things up.  It'll be because it was stolen once again.

    I can't wait until November 5th.

NeoCONs please stop.. You guys Have been making US feel treatened using fear tactic to start a war which D*ck's CO has made rich off of, killed 5000+ Dem's children who are in Military and drive up the oil price for good of Bu*h family. Then doing so poorly on the internal job of regulating, we don't have food that's safe to eat, products from China making us sick, economy thrown into shambles and you are trying to steal another Trillions of tax money to share with your financial buddies. Revelation Chapter 6, Verse 8.
    Please stop...

Then you would make this war prisoner become another puppet, who probably was the reason that we lost the Vietnam to Vietcon. Being prisoner for over 5 years while his father is commander of the entire military was probably the reason why we lost the battles then withdrawal shamfully. Please you owe it to your mistreated war boddies, don't mention that war record again.

D*ck and B*sh please stop scr*wing and fu*king US. Anyhow endorsement from Major D*ck have actually hurt the McPain so thank you very much in that regard.

    Go Obama!!!!
