BREAKING! Bin Laden Still Alive!

Al Masri, the bloodthirsty terrorist who attacked us on 9/11, who supposedly is the key to the whole Iraq Debacle, now that the previous two keys, Saddam Hussein and Zarqawi are dead (not to mention 8 million #3s), is DEAD! again. Check that. Nope, it is misinformation we are now told. So how is that different than what the Media has been reporting for the last 6 years?

Meanwhile, we can report that Osama bin Laden is alive and well, living in Pakistan/Afghanistan/Waziristan/Off The Bush Radarstan.

Bush has spent 4 years and half a trillion dollars in an imperialist invasion and occupation that has killed nearly a million Iraqis AND killed more Americans than were killed in 9/11, AND created a continuous supply of very motivated people in Iraq who want to kill Americans, all the while claiming he is fighting terror, and Bin Ladin, his best buddy in marketing his WOT, is still walking around.

The incompetency defense comments from the RWNJs should be interesting in a morbidly clinical sort of way today.

Bush Commits One Additional Troop To Afghanistan:
Bush said. "Today, I am ordering the deployment of the 325th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Private Tim Ekenberg, to the embattled Kandahar region."

"We will take whatever measures necessary to win," Bush added. "Isn't that right, Tim?"

Ekenberg is scheduled to arrive in Afghanistan on Friday. His duties include providing full military support for the still-tenuous democratic government, resolving potential conflicts between rival warlords, gathering intelligence for his superiors, delivering humanitarian relief to millions of Afghan citizens displaced by factional warfare, and maintaining a high level of personal physical fitness.

Ekenberg's most vital assignment, however, will be to patrol approximately 1,200 square miles of volatile territory on the Afghan-Pakistani border and conduct search-and-destroy missions on the estimated 40,000 caves where U.S. intelligence sources believe Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda operatives could be hiding.
"This is where we should have been sending troops all along," Clinton said. "It's a promising sign that the president is finally willing to unleash on Afghanistan the full force and military might of the United States Marine Corps Private Tim Ekenberg."

The issue of whether the rumors are true or not will be settled when military investigators reach Nihabi.

But setting that aside for the moment, you don't think that the death of Al Masri is a noteworthy circumstance? Isn't it even more noteworthy if it's true that he has been killed by a rival insurgent group?

Why the single minded focus on just one terrorist, who's off hiding in a cave, BTD? Why shouldn't we be worried about the terrorists who are running around Iraq, killing U.S. troops?

After he initially denied having anything to do with it. His later admission may have been for political gain.

Hey, I am not saying that he did not do it. It is just that there is very little proof to link hin to the event.

Besides, if it is so clear that he is responsible how come the FBI dropped that case against him.

There are videos of him planning it with KSH (none / 0) (#13)

    prior to 9/11.

This simnply is not a disputed issue imo.

Now, some fall into the LIHOP school. I don't. But you can not argue that bin Laden and Al Qaida were not responsible.

I am in the camp of innocent until proven guilty. I have not seen the tapes of him and KSH, and do not speak Arabic either. There is little doubt in my mind that he was responsible for the bombings in 1998 Tanzania but for 9/11 many doubts.

I will look for info on the tapes you mention.

    FBI (5.00 / 2) (#21)
by squeaky on Tue May 01, 2007 at 05:15:02 PM EST
The fact that the FBI is not investigating OBL for 911 means nothing, I guess. They seem to just do as they please whether there is evidence of a crime or not.

Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) of the Senate Intelligence Committee tried his best back in 2003 to get the FBI to investigate the Niger forgeries. The FBI's response has been lackluster at best.

    (2) Osama bin Laden did not order the 9-11 attacks.

    I thought that Bush was a man of his word (5.00 / 2) (#31)
by Freewill on Wed May 02, 2007 at 12:33:02 AM EST
Didn't Bush say he was going to get who ever did 9/11? Didn't he say "Dead or Alive"? And I thought Bush was a man of his word, who sticks by his word. A honorable man with unwavering integrity" as the minion of talk tough puppets put it.

Bush told us that the reason we can't leave Iraq was because it would demonstrate to the terrorists that America has no resolve. If we don't have the resolve to find the actual terrorist who attacked America are we not emboldening that terrorist and inviting him to "have another wack at it"? "Hey, you kill thousands of Americans on American soil and go hide. We'll let ya win this round"

"We can't leave Iraq now because if we do all those American lives lost would be in vain" is another paraphrased comment so often repeated by those tough talking Warmongers. However, if we don't get the dude responsible for 9/11 isn't that leaving American lives lost in vain? Apparently not to them!

I can't understand these Warmongers who talk tough but in the same breath speak about protecting terrorists? I guess I can't figure out their logic; Civil War Participants = Terrorists, All Muslims = Evil Terrorists, Bin Laden = Dude on Vacation who means nothing now?

    Honestly (5.00 / 1) (#34)

I do not believe that Bush can remember what he said yesterday yet alone 2 days ago. His speeches always sound the same, 9/11, remember 9/11, and they'll follow us home. If you watch the video from 2 years ago the propaganda was the same as it is today. Nothing has changed.

Why? Because he has said these lines so many times now he has convinced himself that they must be true.

"I'll probably say it three more times, see, in my line of work you gotta keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kinda catapult the propaganda."- Bush - New York, May 24, 2005

Bush on how to end terrorism:

"People say, how can I help on this war against terror? How can I fight evil? You can do so by mentoring a child; by going into a shut-in's house and say I love you." - President Bush - Washington, D.C., Sept. 19, 2002

Here is Bush on Bin Laden:

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." --Washington, D.C., Sept. 13, 2001

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." --Washington, D.C., March 13, 2002

It's amazing how Warmongers hold this President to such high esteem. How can Warmongers ever expect to be taken seriously when they parrot this President? Myself, I can't figure out what the hell he is talking about half the time. How is the U.S. population supposed to understand this President when the President himself doesn't understand the President?

One last one from guess who:

"For diplomacy to be effective, words must be credible - and no one can now doubt the word of America." 2004 State of the Union Address
