Would GOP Nomination Of Gingrich Trigger Trump Independent Bid?

The short fingered vulgarian and charlatan Donald Trump, the celebrity for folks who find the Kardashians too refined for their tastes, endorsed Mitt Romney today at a hotel in Las Vegas that carries his name (what his ownership percentage of the the hotel is, is not clear.)

Trump has previously stated that if the "right candidate" does not win the GOP nomination, he would launch an independent bid. Presumably then, if Newt Gingrich miraculously wins the nomination, the short fingered vulgarian and charlatan will launch his own bid, right? Of course not. Trump is a charlatan and a clown.

he helped Mitt pi$$ away whatever remaining chance he had to make any hay at all from the FL victory after the stupid "poor" comments.

being seen as indifferent to the poor he kisses the Donalds ring.  what a candidate!

if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their butts.

Seriously BTD, this is such a non-issue.  Navel gazing rates higher on the what interesting things are happening in the world scale.  Even us heathens on the right don't give a damn about Trump or his endorsement.

for republicans than if they nominate Romney and Newt goes third which I have been wondering about since Iowa and many others seem to be doing since FL.

just wishful thinking on your part. Newt is not going to go third party. Newt thinks that he can win the GOP nomination and if he doesn't win the GOP nomination he knows he has no chance of winning the presidency and the presidency is what he wants more than anything.

I think what he wants more than anything is to destroy Romneys chances of being president.  I wont bother to link to all the other people who have been "wishful thinking" in the last few days.

time will, as they say, tell.

Newt is a cheap whore who can be bought off. All Romney has to do if he's the one that gets the nomination is promise him some ambassadorship or something in Washington to Newt and Newt will endorse Romney and people may or may not remember what Newt has said during the primary. Don't mistake Newt with someone who actually has some beliefs.

I think it was a little more than 40% of them.  and when we get to super tuesday that will happen again.

honestly I cant decide if he is serious or if he is just warning the establishment that if they try shock and awe again after super tuesday he will show them shock and awe.  the republican party pretty much to a person has taken a giant sh!t on him for months now.  that sort of thing doesnt usually inspire things like loyalty and fealty.  but who knows.  maybe he really has found redemption and forgiveness in his heart.

and you know what?  I honestly dont care and am a bit surprised others seem to so much.  I dont have a dog in this fight but I am loving every minute of it.

also learned making rock solid predictions this year is dangerous.  (know what I mean?  I KNOW you do)

just overheard at the diner. (sorry for language.  trying to capture the moment)

"F*KIN TRUMP! dont dont get me started.   after Newt treated him with respect!  said he would go to his damn debate!"

"well, at least maybe that means he wont go third party."

    "f*kin Trump.  who gives a sh!t."

for ignorant uneducated old f*rts they talk about the same things being talked about here so often its a little eerie
