I just spoke to my rep's office. He is an unabashed liberal who is against Bush on every single issue but his office told me "don't wory", "it's the blue dogs, we've got to appease them so they don't vote with Republicans", "they're worried about re-election", and a whole lot of other excuses that simply don't pass muster. I pointed out that if the Dems are willing to compromise away my constitutional rights for the sake of their re-election bids then I am no longer a Democrat and this is no longer America.

Call your reps and tell them you are not going to put up with their namby-pamby sh*t! They either vote to protect our constitutional rights or they will pay the price.

I am now officially fed up with the Democratic party. The party is dead to me.
