than anything Wright was saying and he's been labeled a racist for his attack on the white power structure - by Democrats!

Reading it again, I see that he talked about the clergy, white moderates and various forces in the African-American community but he specifically said white moderates were doing more harm than white supremacists.

Interestingly he talks of something else, which people were outraged when Obama said it in a different context, a typical white reaction or, in this case, inaction with regards to African-Americans.

The white power structure in this country... its considered racism... if MLK was alive today, and their wasn't a Malcolm X, he would be considered a racist also... its what's sad

He isn't... but its understanding the thinking. Why would he say that? because stuff like this was not so far fetched in his generation
