How about local pol support--mayors, county leaders, etc?

Does Doyle have a big patronage machine?

Madison's Mayor's staying neutral.

Milwaukee's Tom Barrett was early for Obsama, but I don't expect him to play hardball. Doyle will make appearances with Obama, but likewise not twist arms.

County Execs, Judges, and Mayors are technically nonpartisan. They'll also be on the ballot, but only where there's 3 or more candidates for a seat.

In the smaller Counties, Sherriffs have more patronage clout than anyone else, but most are Republicans.

The big endorsement prize by far is Feingold. I suspect Kohl will remain neutral, if her does endorse it'll be Clinton.

If you look at the issues Feingold cares about, it's pretty clear who he's really pulling for.  I would hope that sometime after February 12 he delivers.
