Cameos (5.00 / 2) (#10)

And, finally, somewhere, a bunch of bloggers tearing the case apart.  Though, if they say "that's bullsh*t" a fraction of the number of times they did in slicing through the spin, we'll wind up with an "R" rating based on sheer volume of profanity alone.

Jeralyn, Marcy, Jane, Christie, Swopa and Pachacutec would be perfect for the blog team, as is.

I concur (none / 0) (#12)

on casting the bloggers, but care needs be taken.  The problem with taking non-actors and giving them a part is that a lot of them may be non-actors for a reason.  Not "they can't act", but rather that the camera - for whatever reason - does not get the vitality the real individual may have.  I've seen Jeralyn on TV, Jane and Marcy on the daily YouTubes, Swopa, too.  They were all good and came across well.  I'd just be careful on making the jump to movies.

Gotta use the Rubik's cube, though.  (I'm a big fan....)

Suspension of Disbelief (none / 0) (#13)

I agree that that they looked unpolished, if that is what you are implying. For me that was part of what made it so good. The question is will it disturb the traditional suspension of disbelief that Holywood movies depend on?  And if it does is that really a bad thing.

I personally would welcome the disruption.
