Craig and Crapo aren't complaining about the law enforcement stuff ATF does, they're complaining about the regulations of gun dealers and putting gun dealers out of business who don't comply with the regulations.

I don't have an opinion on Michael Sullivan.  But I do have an opinion on whether conservative Republicans and their approach to regulation and enforcement.  They have systematically tried to weaken regulation across industries and it has been devastating.

Finally, do you really think the problem with a Bush appointee is that he's a zealot when it comes to enforcing regulations against gun dealers?

The entire thing is Republican crap designed to play into progressive fears about law enforcement.
