I don't think I need to show you how to engage in denial, you've demonstrated your own abilities for all to see who want to check the archives.

You are incapable of following a series of events

Like this?

PPJ - granted there is a lot of dissemination from the leftists here, but aren't you twisting the facts somewhat in terms of Byrd using the "n" word? I watched the interview (both parts) and he doesn't use it except in a rerun clip from the incident in 2001. Ergo, he only made that mistake once (publicly).

you are making a false claim.

That's a good way to weasel out of answering my question:

There has been a terrorist attack larger and capable of killing more people since that of 9/11?

Go back and start with the Embassy take over in '79 and you can clearly see the increase.

When you make oversimplified statements, expect to be called on them.

Of course, in your narrative, the arming of the Afghani resistance fighters, started under Pres. Carter's Sec. of State had nothing to do with the 'rise' of Islamicist extremism,
yaddah-yaddah-yaddah..........

Thanks for showing your true colors, PPJ.

being obsessive over my one admitted mistake regarding how many times an ex-KKK member and Demo Senator has used the N word, why not just admit that the terrorist attacks grew year by year.

Instead you twist and turn and try to act like you didn't understand that 9/11 is the bench mark within the US.

yadda yadda and thanks for showing tour SOP of parsing and dodging. You really have become unworthy of debate.

BTW - Do you think he used the N word more than once when he was a KKK member??

why not just admit that the terrorist attacks grew year by year.

Why not just admit that they came to a climax with 9/11, and that you were unable to answer my question because it makes a hash of your oversimplified POV.

Instead you twist and turn and try to act like you didn't understand that 9/11 is the bench mark within the US.

PPJ, you're better at acting like you don't understand things when you want to than I, and you really should take your self-esteem issues to another site instead of attempts at working them out here.

yadda yadda and thanks for showing tour SOP of parsing and dodging.

Not at all, you still need some work in this area, but I'd be willing to give you a B+ for effort

You really have become unworthy of debate.

That's why you're posting a comment in reply, it's an example of Southern graciousness and consideration I'll not forget for a long time.

BTW - Do you think he used the N word more than once when he was a KKK member??

Yes, like Trent Lott when he was fighting against Civil Rights in the 60s:

Resignation from Senate leadership

Tremendous political controversy ensued following remarks Lott made on December 5, 2002 at the 100th birthday party of Sen. Strom Thurmond of South Carolina. Thurmond ran for President of the United States in 1948 on the Dixiecrat (or States' Rights) ticket. Lott said:

"When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We're proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over the years, either."
As a Congressman, he voted against renewal of the Voting Rights Act, voted against the continuation of the Civil Rights Act and opposed the Martin Luther King Holiday. Lott also maintained for many years an affiliation with the Council of Conservative Citizens, which is described as a hate group by the Anti-Defamation League and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

But for some reason, you don't like to dwell on a Republican making a recent racist remark for which he apologized, no, Byrd saying the N-word is the worse thing done by a Senator since Sen. Brooks caned Sen. Sumner 151 years ago.

Thanks for showing us your true colors, PPJ.
