Reuters reports Trump has retained his long time lawyer Marc Kasowitz, who is partners with Joe Lieberman, to represent him in the Russia Probe.

This must be why the Washington Post is reporting Lieberman is no longer Trump's top pick to lead the FBI.

Question: Why did Melania and Ivanka cover up for the Pope but not Saudi Arabia? The media attempts to answer. And here's a covered up Melania holding hands with Donald. I guess he doesn't take no for an answer.

that being elected president was the worst thing that ever happened to D. J. Trump and his little "family enterprise". if he had just continued doing what he had always done he could have continued with the same shady stuff that made him rich and continued being rich and getting richer. he probably has enough time for at least one more wife trade in.

the irony become more rich if you consider the possibility that he never really expected to win, which i believe, and that the whole thing was just a thing he felt like doing to raise his name ID.

because now its looking more and more likely that not only is he going down hard but he is going to take some people with him.

and the like are respectful, even required in many Italian churches. (Nuns have big paper sacks for tourists in shorts and/or sleeveless shirts, as students in our group found out -- although we warned them, but they listened little to a lot.)

However, wearing black and covering the head are not required for meeting the Pope. To this former Catholic, they look foolish. As another put it, they look like they got their fashion advice from watching Godfather films . . . of funerals.

I often see Muslim women around Philadelphia, at least, in "modest" garb consisting of loose fitting trousers and tops, coupled with headscarves. I would think, in terms of not showing legs and ankles, that trousers are at least as "modest" as most dresses or skirts.

Investigators are focusing on a series of meetings held by Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law and an influential White House adviser, as part of their probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election and related matters, according to people familiar with the investigation.

I think Kushner was totally in the league of the sharks. This guy is most famous as a slumlord. The idea that he his wife were some elegant compassionate democrats fighting against the craven mean ole capitalists is frankly guffaw worthy.

It's worth remembering his father was convicted and sent to prison for tax evasion, witness tampering and something else I forget. He is the scion of a ruthless borderline criminal real estate empire almost as big (bigger?) than Donalds.

No, Jared is no minnow.

any semi-intelligent bottom feeder with no morals who starts out with an ill gotten inheritance can thrive as a slumlord.
Dealing with World class Russian intel is a whole different kettle of fish, pros like Flynn and Comey got played, and frankly the whole IC seemed awfully slow to catch on to the game.
I do think Kushner is one of the bigger fish in tRump's personal swamp, but like most of the rest of them he has no idea how to work the levers of power.

I just think he thought he could do what he wanted. Flynn should have known better but made insanely stupid mistakes. Why? How did he even think he'd get away with violating FARA? It's like they all believed they were in a vacuum.

Kushner is who snuck the Russian Ambassador into Trump Tower, and we have photos of Ivanka hanging out with Putin and girlfriend. The Trump family knows who they've been running with. They just thought they had different rules than the rest of us.

I think he was stunned running with Trump, Kushner, and Erik Prince too though Prince doesn't get much play right now. But Flynn wanted that kind of money. And 500,000 from Turkey was small taters compared to who he was running with.

I think they're all up to their necks violating sanctions in order to launder Russian money.

Maybe not Prince since he's fed via the UAE now.

Before this is over I think the most jaded among us will be picking our jaws up off the floor.

The last thing Trump/Kusnner Inc needed or I think expected is a Special Prosecutor. I doubt that was ever in the family business plan.

It's starting to seem to me the whole "Russian interference in the election" and their involvement in it is becoming a second level problem. Honestly I begin to doubt there was "collusion" of any consequence. At least on that issue. It seems all those strange unexplainable meetings might not have been about that at all but something else entirely.

About what? Well thats what we are gonna find out

be true were it not Cambridge Analytica involved with microtargeting places for Putin to focus on. I think it's going to be both election collusion and undermining and the money laundering RICO. teh NY AG is probably the one that is going to be toting the load on that because frankly Trump can't pardon anyone for Schneiderman's indictments.

At Politico I also snagged an article on McMaster. They said HR wounded himself too saving Trump, he may never recover in military national security circles. His surrogates know what he did, they understand why he chose to do it, but most think he should not have destroyed himself for Trump. He should have just allowed Trump to eat his own shat.
